I am searching with permission for John Lowe who is my ex-husband. We emigrated to Melbourne Australia in 1983 and have two sons. John was born in Hull on 3/11/1952 and was adopted by Betty and Anthony Lowe not long after. The only information we were given was that his mother was very young and ? American and his father was a Yorkshire policeman. There was mention that his GF was an American diplomat but that’s all we have. His recent DNA is yet to be downloaded but no American connection just 80% UK. We are new to this but in view of John’s recent health scare he has decided to pursue his family history. Many thanks if anyone has any information to start our journey.
