I am helping my friend Michael find his biological father and/or his half sibling(s). Michael’s father was also adopted. Michael’s father was likely born circa 1940‚ in or near County Durham. The adoption records state that he was placed with a moral welfare association. His first name is known to be David. He had a relationship with Michael’s mother Irene. They were both married to other people but separated. David had one child at the time of Michael’s birth in 1970. David was a petty officer in the royal navy. I am a genetic genealogist and have found what is likely to be David’s biological parents. Michael passed away Feb 2024 but closure is necessary for myself‚ along with Michael’s mother‚ and other relatives that have helped in the search.
