My mam was Rosalyn Knox, she was born in 1950. I believe the baby was named Lynne Knox, not sure of the year she was born, she was born in Durham not sure if it was Sedgefield hospital or Durham, mam was sent to Smelt House a mother and baby unit where she stayed before and after having the baby, my mams sisters remember going to see both my mam and the baby each week. My mam wanted to keep her but my grandad wouldn’t let her as she was under age. Also my mams sisters seem to think that Lynne was adopted and sent to London.
