David Willicombe my half brother was born at St Andrews hospital to my mother Margaret Willicombe on 13th November 1952. My mother was originally from Somerset but David’s birth was registered at Poplar‚ London. I understand that the Samaritans helped with David’s adoption and that mum went on a long heartbreaking journey to northern England with David within a month of his birth. I have no firm details but Matlock in Derbyshire‚ Chester-le-street have been mentioned.
