I was born on 23rd November 1976 in the Rotunda Hospital in Dublin. I was called Stephanie by my birth mother whose name was Carmel and I believe she was 18 years old when I was born. The RGAS facilitated my adoption with my adoptive parents taking me home on 18th January 1977. I have no further details but as a mum now myself, I would like to find out more about my background. It was a selfless, wonderful act by a young woman to whom I am eternally grateful.
