My aunt Teresa (Cooney) McDonald has asked for my help in finding information about her birth parents. She was born in a mother and baby unit in Dublin. Adopted some 4 years later having stayed in the home although the mother apparently left in 1938. My aunt now lives in Adelaide Australia and has asked for my help. She did write to the home some years ago but received a letter telling her they had no information.
