I was adopted through a private adoption. My biological mother Mary Kathleen Smythe was 16 at the time. A friend of my parents was a Canadian lawyer ( name Joyce) and was in Dublin (Ireland)covering a case. My biological mother was, I believe, a witness in the case, and my parents friend lawyer had to question her. That’s how they met. My parents friend new that my adoptive parents wanted to adopt. I don’t know how my adoption came about, but the adoption was done through my pare lawyer so it was a private adoption. I do know that my biological mother was from a small town near Cork (Ireland) or so I was told. Don’t know more than that . I was told my father might have been Greek but I am really not sure about that. I do want to have some news about my biological mother . She should be around 51 by now
