I want my birth mother to know you are my hero. I love and respect you for your courage and sacrifice. I would appreciate getting to know you and any siblings I may have. I would also like to know my health history. I know I was adopted through Lutheran Inner Mission Society, a precursor to Lutheran Social Services. I received a letter from my birth mother over a decade ago and wrote back, but she did not respond further. I was hoping to contact my siblings. My birth mother was in the Air Force at the time of her pregnancy.
