Hello‚ my mother was born on October 21‚1953 and adopted at 9 months old in Washington DC. She passed away in 2020 and tried for years to find her birth mother. She petitioned the court but was told the records could not be released because her birth mother was still alive and did not give permission. I am her daughter and trying to continue her search. My mothers name was Jan‚ she was white with blonde hair and brown eyes.
