I am searching for my son who was born on my 20th birthday in 1968. He was born just after midnight at the George Washington University Hospital. I stayed with him at the hospital for a day and then was brought back to the Florence Crittendon Home where I had been staying for the last three months that I was pregnant. He was adopted through the social services agency that was housed within the Crittendon Home. By the time I was able to start searching for him, the Home was sold and I was not able to get in touch with the agency. I do know that he was adopted by a couple who was in the Air Force and that two years later they adopted a little girl. He is now 50 and probably not at all interested in finding his birth mother. But if he has the slightest interest, I would love to connect with him. I have purchased an Ancestry.com DNA kit in the hopes that he may be searching for me as well.
