I was adopted through Catholic Charities. Born at a hospital in Washington D. C. on July 18, 1965. I believe the hosptial was St. Elizabeth’s, but not sure. I learned I was adopted at a very young age. My parents were always open and honest with us about this. I have two siblings that are also adopted and a sibling that is natural to my parents. We have loving parents and have had wonderful lives. We are all very close and close to our parents as well. I was told that my birth mother kept me for some time after my birth, but that she eventually realized it was best to let me go. I was told she named me "Jean". "Jean Marie", I believe.
