My aunt, Laura Virginia Briggs gave birth to a beautiful baby girl with red hair, around May or June, 1948-49. Laura was 32 years old at the time, and unmarried. She was living in California when she became pregnant. She lived with my parents, Edith Ellen and Robert Stanley Rollins in Washington DC, at the end of her pregnancy and delivery. The baby girl was most likely born, and given up for adoption in Washington DC, or the surrounding area. The baby was given up for adoption either immediately after birth, or shortly after. My Aunt has since passed, and she was never able to have any other children. I have been searching for her daughter for several years, I would like to be in contact with her to let her know she has family who loves her, and would like to find her.
