Adoption took place in probably late 1930s to early 1940s Adoptive parents were Frederick Walter norris and hope finfrock norris. I was born in Memphis Tennessee to Cecil Wayne norris sr and Lillian Williams norris. Fred and hope norris are my aunt and uncle. My birth mother died late 1930s. May birth father said he felt he could not care for me properly and gave me to my aunt and uncle. I was not aware of the adoption for years. My aunt and uncle never told me about it. I was told of the adoption when my adoptive sister Bess Denton from hot springs Arkansas and my other adoptive sister Georgia Lee WEESE from New Orleans told me about it after my adoptive mother and father passed away. The 2 adoptive sisters are now dead. I am wanting to get copies of the adoption if possible.
