I was born at Washington Hospital Center on April 11, 1963 and I was adopted thru the Barker Foundation. Though my parents were married at the time of my birth my biological parents didn’t realize my mother was pregnant at the time of the wedding. My biological father has tremendous guilt over that fact and they did not feel ready to parent or that they prepared financially or emotionally to raise me. The pregnancy was hidden from the entire family except the biological mother’s sister. I believe they came from outside of the DC for the end of her pregnancy and my birth.
