I know that my mother, Suzanne, had a baby boy in March 1958 in Weymouth, Dorset. She named him Christopher Timothy Hebdon and had him baptised. He was taken into a residential nursery at around 6 weeks of age I think and then fostered. The foster family went on to adopt him as my mother was not allowed to bring him up at home. She was aged 20 at the time. I think the adoptive family lived in Wiltshire. So Christopher would be my half brother.
