My name is Jessica Akre‚ and I am searching for my birth parents to possibly have a conversation or even a relationship if they desire. I am also looking for my genetic/medical history‚ as my adoption was closed‚ and I am worried about my health‚ and I am looking to start a family within the next couple of years. I was born in Newark‚ DE‚ at Christiana Hospital. August 9th‚ 1998. My adoptive parents used Adoptions from the Heart agency. My adoptive mother's name is Jill Akre‚ and my adoptive father's name is David Akre from NJ. I have been told my birth mother kept the pregnancy hidden until the time of labor. I was also told that her name is Jennifer‚ that she had blonde hair at the time‚ blue eyes‚ and that she was 24 years old at the time of my birth. I know that my birth mother's father requested a photo of me when I was a baby‚ which my adoptive parents granted‚ but they heard nothing after. I know nothing of my birth father's side‚ only that he is of Mexican-American ethnicity based on Ancestry DNA testing.
