My mother gave birth to a baby girl in Cuba in 1962 in a maternity hospital in Guantanamo City, Cuba. Not much information is known. At the time my parents had my two brothers and I. My mother is Jamaican born and my father was born in Cuba and raised in Jamaica. My father worked in Guantanamo Base at the time. We are currently residing in New York. My father passed away five years ago and mum is 93 years young.
