My mother was born in New London Connecticut an adopted by a family from Massachusetts. It was a closed adoption and she didn’t reveal it to any of us while growing up although we always suspicious why she was born in Connecticut. She is now 86 years old and in advanced Alzheimer’s. I submitted her DNA to ancestry.com with little success. I realize her birth parents are most definitely deceased at this point however there may be later generations of family members that we can meet.
