I recently discovered letters between my biological father (now deceased) Lonnie Ray Hill and Carole Graham‚ who bore his child before my dad married my mother. Both parents were from the Asheville NC area‚ but Carole was sent to Connecticut to live for several months before the child was born. My research indicates Carole returned to Asheville after the birth. To my knowledge‚ Carole did not have any family in the CT area and her one remaining child is unaware of her having a child before him. Letters indicate Carole expected the child to be a girl‚ she was born in Late July or early August 1967‚ and the baby did not return to NC with her. I would very much like to find this half-sister!
