She was born in New London Connecticut on July 21 1936. It is possible that her birth name was Nancy Lu (or Lou) Mann. She was adopted by a Polish couple by the names of Jan Stefan Glowski and Helen Tarbay Glowski, who lived in Eizabeth New Jersey. After adoption, her name was changed to Jeanette Valerie Glowski.
