I was told that my mother was 23 when she had me, and she had 6 younger siblings, including a set of twins. My father was supposed to be from New York, and I was told he was 32. My mother didn’t know he was married with 2 children. (None of this information is confirmed, just stories I have been told. I was also told that my birth name was possibly Deborah Jane Mitchell, though I was given up at birth.) I have never given up searching but am losing hope. My DNA results have been downloaded to this site. I hope someone finds me soon! Update: I have been reunited with my birth family through DNA results. It took 67 years, but I now have 8 brothers and 2 sisters that I never knew about.
