Hello‚ I am searching on behalf of a birth mother who would like to find her son. Here is the information I have: He was taken into child welfare custody as a baby and his name at birth was Jacob Wayne Smith. He was adopted after his first birthday but had visits with her mom prior to adoption. The social worker’s name was Julie McCormick and this was out of the Grand Junction‚ CO DHS office. The family that adopted him may have been Mennonite and were young. they had or came from a large family. All the people being described are white. They lived 1-2 hours outside of Grand Junction. Maybe the mom’s name was Anna‚ but not sure. Any information you have about this would be helpful‚ as birthmom has no other information. Thank you!
