I’m searching for my adopted half sibling. We know that their birth mother was either named Kay, or that "Kay" was her nickname. She went to Sandia High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico, in 1969. That’s where Kay met my dad, Richard L. Henderson. He was 19 at the time and we have heard from family members that she was younger than him, possibly as young as 15. Kay may have had two brothers who also went to the same high school, and both of whom had names starting with "T." After falling pregnant, Kay’s family took her to Colorado where my half sibling was born and adopted. My sister and I heard from our dad that he saw Kay in passing around Albuquerque a couple of times throughout the decades so we think she either moved back or frequently visited. If Kay was your birth mom, please know that you have two half sisters who have always wondered about you. We know that you probably have lots of complicated feelings about potentially connecting with us but we would like to explore what we have in common, hear about your life, and offer you any information about your medical history from you bio dad if you’re open to that.
