This is what is was told by my adoptive family and Catholic Charities. I’m not sure how much is correct. I was born in Denver CO. to students in college. My dad was getting a masters in science and my mom was a senior getting her BA in math and languge . I believe my father was brown skin man from Puerto Rico but could be mistaken about that. My mom is white. They ir she brought me to NYC for adoption since Colorado only had state run agencies and NY had private agencies. The name of the agency was different before it became Catholic Charities. They were in Manhattan when I inquired in 1980. I only got a glimpse of ny adoption paper when i was younger , but I beileve my given name was Cheryl Dee Daiber/
