I was 16 when I gave birth at The Florence Crittenton Home for Unwed Mothers in Denver‚ CO. I have very little information on the father and very foggy memories of details from that time. I was from Albuquerque‚ NM. The father was in in the US Navy and stationed in Albuquerque. I now live in California. I have thought of this baby every day. Since I’m closer to the end of my life’s journey rather than farther‚ I would really like to put a name and face-even from a photo- of that baby that I gave birth to but never saw. I was given no information on the adoptive parents. I did request that the baby be adopted by a Catholic family.
