Hello‚ my name is Jessica DeHerrera. I am the eldest daughter of Steve DeHerrera. When my father was 15/16‚ had a child with Christina Valdez. Their son was born 12/29/1986 at Saint Joseph Hospital in Denver‚ CO. He was named Joshua Daniel Valdez. Joshua was adopted by a couple Kris and Paul soon after birth. They lived in Colorado‚ and both were ,36 at the time. The adoption was facilitated by Valerie Valentine‚ M.S.W of Catholic Community Services. He was renamed Jonathan‚ and was baptised in 1987. My father’s mother concealed communication from the birth family for many years. My father really regrets this. My father thinks of Joshua/Jonathan often. He and my family would love the opportunity to connect with Jonathan and his adopted family.
