M.y name is Mary Johanna Spicola. My maiden name was Mary Johanna Coudayre. My parents names are James B Coudayre and Patricia M Coudayre. They are both now deceased. We lived in Pueblo Colorado when I got pregnant in 1974, I was 15 years old. My Mother took me to the Diocese of Pueblo Catholic Charities to get counseling on what we should do. The priest suggested that I go to Denver Colorado to the Florence Crittenton Home for unwed mother’s. The Priest name was Father Kapusion, (not sure if spelling is correct). I went there in September 1974 and in April 1975 gave birth to a baby boy. I think the hospital in Denver was St. Joseph’s where I gave birth. My Mother said I had to give the baby up for adoption or I wouldn’t be allowed to go home. When I was released from the hospital, the baby went with me back to Florence Crittenton Home. I left there after 3 - 4 days and the baby remained there until he was adopted. It was required that I name him for the Birth Certificate and I named him Christopher Coudayre with no middle name.
