I have always been told I was adopted but my birth certificate says I was born at home. I contacted the witness on the b.c. and was told my adopted mother worked miltary reserves in CO and at the hospital in the nursery and was there when I was born. That she had some sort of verbal agreement with my birth mother. I was told that my adopted mom returned to WA with me and talked the witness into signing a b.c. saying I was born at home. Asking about it I’m told there is no paperwork, but they did go through a lawyer but wont tell me what one.
