I was adopted in Denver, Colorado in 1966. The hospital was not listed by name - only said Hospital - I think it says Adams county? My adoption occurred through the Catholic Charities. My adopted parent’s are Ed and Betty Kersen. I was adopted in Denver, Colorado. I did some searching through the Charity and got records opened to show some history and descriptions but no names. The reunion search ran into a dead end. My maternal grandmother didn’t want me put up for adoption. I was held for 30+ days but they didn’t return to stop the adoption. My birth mother was 17-18 years old at my birth and felt it was beneficial for me to be adopted. The birth grandmother was divorce and remarried. Sounds like they moved back and forth from a country (Germany?) to USA a couple of times. A current search brought up a 1/2 brother from the maternal side. He was put up for adoption too and was born in 1968. He got a copy of his original birth certificate and it listed a Vickie Green as the mother from Colorado Spring and German. My current search found a lot of Hispanic relatives listed in Mexico and Texas.
