Hi! My name is Andrew. I was born Juan Carlos Gonzales in Bogota Colombia in December of 1992. I have very little information about my parents other than my father was studying Dentistry (and from Spain) and my mothers family owned a clothing store ( I think). I went through a closed adoption process with a company that is no longer in service. Since my parents were not married and far too young, my mothers family side decided to give me up for a better life. It proved to work as I was placed in the care of an amazing family who provided me all the needs an adolescent could need in the suburbs of New York. But there was always that missing part. It started as a child when I couldn’t understand why I didn’t like look all the other families. I think this lead to a ton of self identity issues that I still deal with daily, but it’s 2020. Covid is here, why wait? Mom if you’re out there please reach out someway to let me know you are OK. Life has become so insane, a little clarity and peace would go a long way. I told myself on my 12th birthday I would come find you and give you the biggest hug ever. I turn 28 in two weeks and I still have yet to fulfill this promise. I won’t EVER stop looking for you and my father but most especially you. Gracias por todos madre.
