I was born June 10th 1975 in Columbia and was placed in an orphanage in Ibague, Tolima until my adoptive parents brought me back to New York in the USA within my first year of life. I do not know any of the circumstances surrounding my adoption or how I came to be placed in an orphanage. I just recently discovered my original birth records and now know my given name at birth. It was Leonel Fernando Neira. I would truly love more than anything to be given the chance to learn more about my birth parents and about the culture of the country I’ve come so far from.
