I was adopted from Bogota, Colombia in 1981 and arrived in the U.S. on February 14, 1981-Valentine’s Day. My parents are incredible and have been the biggest blessing I’ll ever have however it’s been a lonely life as I remained their only child, because of my dad having fertility issues. In fact, that’s how I found out I was adopted. I was about 8 or so and pressing my parents to give me a baby brother or sister because I hated being alone, and after months and years of nothing happening, they finally decided to tell me the truth as to why my mom never got pregnant. Then they began keeping me in the loop on everything from that point on, which was great for our relationship. Anyways, my reason for wanting to know info on my birth parents is to see if they are alive, why they gave me up, if I look like either of them, and also if I wound up having any brothers and sisters whom I never knew about. I also want to thank them for the amazing life they choose to give me by giving me the blessings of my two beautiful angels, my mom and dad. But sadly, that’s all the information I know.
