My name is Richard but at birth my name was Graham and I was born in Warrington, Cheshire on 11th january 1962 - I have my original birth certificate and therefore know the names of both of my birth parents who were not married or living together but both living permanently in the Liverpool area. I was adopted at four weeks of age by a loving couple in Bradford, West Yorkshire and I have had a fantastic life and now have family of my own including children and grandchildren - my adopted father died 23 years ago but my adopted mother is still alive. I would love to have the opportunity to meet my birth mother and tell her that she did the right thing and should never worry that she let me down as things have worked out some well for me.
