I believe that my Great Nana was born Fanny Carr or Carrah‚ on or around the 23rd October 1918. I believe she was born in Stockport but I am not 100% sure on that Her adopted name was Jessie Thorniley i believe her parents were George and Jessie Thorniley BUT again this is not certain. I only found out she may have been adopted when i started the family tree sadly nana Jessie dies in 1995
