I was born on October 29th, 1973, in Misericordia Hospital in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I was adopted about ten days later, I think, by a wonderful couple who have given me more than any child deserves. I believe my birth mother named me Shelly Anne..I think that her family knew my adoptive mother somehow, but my mom never told my dad any of the details, and she had since passed away. I’ve had an amazing life, and been given every opportunity to excel, and grow, and be happy. I’ve always wondered about my birth mother, and just really would like to see a picture of her.. To see someone who looks like me..? It sounds very small, but it’s gnawed away at me for a long time.
