Hope to find my father’s birth family siblings and relatives. My dad was born‚ adopted and raised in Auburn‚ California. Highland General Hospital. Birthday is May 31‚ 1961. On the birth certificate he has‚ only his adoptive parents’ names are listed. He has never requested an original BC or done ancestry kits. The story is...and I’m not entirely sure what is or isn’t true and accurate‚ but‚ story is that his birth parents already had children‚ and didn’t want a boy- or want another boy...unclear... he was last born‚ 5th kid‚ and the only child of theirs to be placed for adoption. He was told he had ?? A bio sister‚ or sisters‚ or siblings....and even went to school with one of them‚ unknowingly. While growing up‚ he never agreed to know/know about his birth mom. I believe the birth parents and his adoptive parents lived close by‚ and kept in contact about him by writing letters. He’s got golden dirty blonde hair‚ hardly any grays or hair loss‚ early sixties‚ blue eyes‚ musically talented‚ witty feller with a good sense of humor‚ & was... "a bit" ...of a troublemaker back in his day- but humbled‚ now. Even if he’s content with not knowing his true roots‚ he understands it’s important to me‚ and doesn’t mind my pursuit. If you grew up on or near Dry Creek rd‚ went to Placer Hills in 60’s/70’s‚ participated in some kind of girls scouts called Bluebirds‚ or had a sister that did- there’s a strong possibility we’re relatives!
