Sidney Phillips (Birth Name) was born in the San Francisco Bay-Area and adopted in 1956. He was adopted to a catholic family. The adoptive mother was spanish with a polish surname. He was adopted along with a sister. The sister is not related. We believe that the sister might have found her birth parents. The only piece of information we have for Sidney is his birth name. We suspect that Phillips is his mothers last name but are unsure. He is currently living in the Eastbay. He now has his own family and one daughter. Sidney has not had a real interest in looking for his family. I am the husband of his daughter and she has always been curious about her other half of the family. When his adopted mother passed‚ she gave the adoption paperwork to my mother in law. She has then attempted to communicate with the adoption agency in San Francisco but will not release the information if Sidney does not request it. The only thing it says is that he was born in SF and his birth name was Sidney Phillips. I want to find that family for my wife and help her know her heritage. Description: He is 5’9"‚ black hair‚ olive to light skin‚ brown eyes with a very slight lower left eye lid. There are times he looks hispanic / native and other times he looks caucasian. Its difficult to describe. Daughter has features that that seem mixed other than caucasian. It is odd because I suspect asian but sometimes hispanic... I’m not a good guesser. Her mother is caucasian with german heritage. His daughter definitely took after her father. Daughter has green eyes. no one on her mother side has green eyes.
