I am the only daughter of Jennifer Graden. She was given up for adoption months after being born to a Catholic orphanage in California. I get the birth year mixed up sometimes‚ but she was definitely born on October 2nd‚ either 1966 or 1964. It was not an open adoption‚ so I have no other information at hand. The nuns noted of the mother: "she did as best as she could to take care of Jenny‚ but wanted to give her a better life." Jenny had serious medical complications‚ including ovarian cancer that took her life at the age of 36 in 2004. Aside from my grandma‚ who adopted my mother‚ I do not have any other family. I have since had dna testing to find out I’m mostly Scottish‚ then Irish‚ Welsh‚ Norse‚ and English from her side.
