My father was born in Los Angeles CA and named Jimmy Sutcliffe. He was adopted shortly thereafter by Earl J. and Edna LaVerne Moody, and named Warren Benson Moody. His mother was with her mother and a daughter. They had come from another state. The adoption records are still sealed, almost 100 years later, and this information I got from what non-identifying information they gave me at the Children’s Home in LA. My father died in 1993, but I am still searching for my true kin.
