I am in search of my late husband’s biological parents. My late husband‚ Kurt Albert Hintz was born at St. Elizabeth’s infant hospital in San Francisco‚ Ca on Nov 19‚ 1963 and given the name Jude by either his parent or the nuns on staff. On Nov 26‚ 1963 he was transferred to the Alameda county adoption agency in Oakland‚ Ca. He was adopted by Victor and Delores Hintz and name was then changed to Kurt Albert Hintz. When searching the California Index record‚ I learned that on Nov 19‚ 1963 in San Francisco Ca a baby named Jude Brophy was given up by his mother who was 24yrs old at the time. The other name associated with his birth is last name "Price". I believe Father was Price and mother was Brophy (could be maiden name). My son was able to connect with his father's family from the Brophy side of the family through ancestry.com but they do not have any knowledge of anyone in their family giving a baby up for adoption. We are still seeking answers & searching.
