What I was told by my adoptive mom is what I have been under the impressions is what the social worker told her. The pregnant girl was in high school when I was born and that her parents supported her through this challenging time. Additionally‚ I know that St. Anne’s Family Services in Los Angeles‚ California‚ played a role in my early life. I don’t believe the biological father knew that she conceived. It was a closed adoption & the file remains closed. I am Caucasian. I believe but do not know for sure if the social worker told my adoptive parents that the birth mom wanted to be a nurse because my mom thought it was cute that I wanted to be a nurse when I was young.
