I’m looking for my half brother Joseph Brutus Guevara who was born at Glendale Adventist medical center on April 25th 1974. He was released to holy family services on April 26th‚ 1974. His birth mother’s name is Joan Lorraine Stevenson (Born 2/ 17/1956) and his birth father’s name I think is Waco Renee Guevara (I’m not 100% sure on this information as I never met his birth father). Joseph was placed into a family with another adopted child‚ a little girl‚ who at the time would have been 2 years old. He was adopted in July of 1974‚ so when he was roughly 3 months old. Both of his adoptive parents were 31 years old‚ and had been married for 7 years at the time of his adoption. His adoptive father is Italian and Mexican in background and had a management job. His adoptive mother was Scotch‚ Irish‚ and Polish in background and was a recreational director prior to becoming a full-time homemaker after adopting their children. I believe this was mostly a closed adoption and I only have one update letter from the social worker at the adoption agency. I don’t know exactly where the adoptive family lived but it would have been somewhere around Los Angeles I believe. The social worker’s name who took care of the adoption was Patricia McCarthy. I am his biological mother’s only other child. And I would very much love to find my half brother‚ If he wants to be found.
