My mother was told that she was adopted, but never asked anymore questions. Before her adopted mother passed she was robbed and all of the adoptions papers were stolen. I have an original birth certificate of my mother and it has her adopted parents name on the cert. She was born in Alameda County in 1952. The chances that her birth parents are still alive are slim to none. I really have no idea where to even start.
