I’m searching for my biological great-grandfather on my mother’s side. I know that the name of the father listed on my grandmother’s birth certificate is not who was biologically her father. My grandmother’s name was Mary Ellen Cummings or Vanderlinden Born February 17‚ 1942 in Southgate‚ los Angeles‚ California and died January 17‚ 2003 In San Francisco‚ California The name of the father on her birth certificate or at least I’m 99.9% sure it is anyways is Harold James Cummings However a sister of my grandmother recently informed me that she knew for for a fact that Harold Cummings wasn’t her biological father but didn’t know who was. This is a major hole in my family tree that I really want to see solved.
