My maiden name is Jenny Maldonado Gonzales My married name is Jenny Gonzales Marvin and my father passed away three years ago. He didn’t speak much about his adoption. I recently came across a few boxes of old paperwork and pictures. I’m trying to find some information about my father’s family. My father’s birth name was Thomas Zarate (Born June 29, 1960) and was adopted by Manuel and Gertrude Gonzales. I found paperwork (Notice Of Removal of Child) that my father’s status changed from Free Home Placement to Adoptive placement basis effective January 31, 1965. BA Case# 90106 BPA Case#56186. Signed by Worker Mrs. Ramona S. Campbell on January 26, 1965. Another piece of paper shows A.D Number 59633 and Date of Adoption was July 13, 1965. I found a copy of my dad Birth Certificate from after he was adopted. Thomas Obeso Gonzales. I hope this information helps.
