She was born in San Diego County, and placed in our home on September 2nd. The adoption was never finalized because of my husband and I was forced to return her on Feb.15, 1973. I was told later that she was placed in a home with three boys in East San Diego County before Mother’s Day of that year. This was all handled through the County of San Diego, HHSA, Child Welfare, and our social worker was Janice Ney.
