My Mom Brenda Joyce ???? was born Feb 24th, 1951 in Los Angeles, Ca. Her biological father was married to her Mom, "Shirley Joyce Mathison" for a brief time around 1949 or 1950. We believe his name is "David Davidson", "David Davis" or "David Dail" Unfortunately they went separate ways and Shirley (my grandmother) remarried a man by the name of "Charles F Smith" He legally adopted my Mom in 1954. I am looking for anyone who might have information on David. My Mom just wants to know what happened to the marriage and why did David give up his rights to his daughter. Shirley never talked about David to my Mom so she virtually has nothing to go on. Any help you can give would be appreciated. there is a lot more to this story I wish I could say more but its to dark for some people . I would like closure for my Mom. Thank you.
