I know his mother was Betty Baughman and she was about 20 when Raymond was born (she said she was naming him Raymond). He was actually delivered in a cab in Bakersfield, Kern Co. CA. before his father was shipped out in WWII Navy. His father was Harvey Hensley. My grandmother had shown me a picture of his mother holding him that was sent to her with a letter saying Betty wanted to her to see her grandson, and that he was being adopted by her father. That is the last contact anyone had with her...no response to letters from family members. Years of trying and no response or leads after that in 1945.
