I was told my birth mother was from the Midwest, possibly Illinois, and came to California to live with an aunt while she was pregnant and had me. I was told she was 27 or 28 when she had me. I was born in a hospital in San Francisco and I think my birth time was about 6:13 a.m. I was told I was in a foster home until I was adopted on July 8, 1949. The adoption was through the Children’s Home Society of Northern Ca, located in Oakland, CA
