My name is Alexis Marie Boiles-Contreras. I’m of Cuban-Mexican parents born in Los Angeles‚ Ca. I’m looking for a half sister/Possibly a full blooded sister whom was born about 14-18 months after I ( after 1986). We would be extremely close in age. This baby girl was adopted by a family from Vermont (so I was told) in the early stages of our birth mom’s pregnancy. Our birth mom had epilepsy and unfortunately passed away in 1992 (Noemia Boiles in Glendale Ca). I was 6 1/2 yrs old. Because there was no whereabouts or communication with our father/s. Our Aunt- Mom’s sister and also my Godmother (Catholic traditions) took me in and raised me with her daughter. I found out about my little sister on my 13th birthday but remember having recollections of our birth mom talking about her. I was eventually adopted as an adult by my aunt and uncle that I was raised with. And we always spoken about looking for my younger sister. Only if her parent’s wanted contact during our minor years. We have no idea what agency she was adopted thru and clearly no idea of her name. But do know that our mom shared with her sister that her name would of been Amanda. I’m just now getting going on this and taking a DNA test next as I’m also looking for my birth father ( to find out health history as I’m doing family planning now).
